CHEF DE PARTIE

 

Located just outside of Yeovil, The Trough Farmshop, Restaurant & Cafe serves Modern European dishes with a warm and friendly service.

We are looking for an experienced and creative Chef de Partie to join our new and exciting kitchen team. The role is made up of many varying responsibilities including: Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes. Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes. Preparing meat and fish.

 

All applicants must have:

  • At least 1 years experience in a busy hospitality setting.

  • Ability to work as a team but also work independently.

  • Ability to work to deadlines.

  • Communication skills.

  • Keeping calm under pressure.

  • Assertiveness.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Organisational skills.

  • Have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety

  • Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins

Salary dependant on experience  £17,500.00-£22,000.00 per year

FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF

  • Previous relevant experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment;

  • Weekend availability is essential;

  • Ability to work well under pressure and willingness to work as part of a team and be flexible;

  • Have a knowledge or be able to follow all covid health and safety standards.
